The Living Legacy Society is a special group of donors who chose to invest in the health of their community by making thoughtful planned gifts to Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH). Since our founding in the 1950s, estate gifts have helped thousands of patients by strengthening our ability to acquire the latest technology, recruit renowned clinicians, and support award-winning services.

Living Legacy Society membership is open to anyone who notifies the hospital’s Foundation that they have provided for the future of NCH through a planned gift of any amount or type. Society membership does not require disclosure of the gift value or other details. In addition to the personal satisfaction you will have from making your legacy gift, you will receive the following member benefits:

• Invitation to an annual gathering of Society members hosted by NCH leadership.
• Access to Foundation staff for assistance with physician referrals, appointment scheduling, and help navigating the healthcare system.
• Invitations to special events and behind-the-scenes tours.
• With your permission, your name will be included as a Society member on the Wall of Philanthropy at the Hospital and in the organization’s annual stewardship report.
• Special Hospital and Foundation publications.
• Timely articles on estate and charitable planning to keep you informed of changing tax laws and opportunities.
• As a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, gifts to the Foundation qualify for charitable tax benefits to the extent allowed by law.
