Sondereggers Plan to Leave A Legacy

John and his wife, Bea, formed a Charitable Remainder Trust (CRT) many years ago for the express purpose of leaving gifts to some of the most significant organizations in their lives.

After his retirement as a Northwest Community neurosurgeon, Dr. René Pecson and his wife, Ellen, wanted to "give back" to the community where René enjoyed a successful 30-year career, the couple raised their three children and Ellen was especially active in voluntary service.

John Morris lived in Rolling Meadows since 1956, when residents had to travel to Evanston or Elgin to get hospital care. But a fundraising campaign was underway to change that. John and his wife, Lillian, made a pledge to help build Northwest Community Hospital. It opened in 1959 and became part of their story.
